Major Change in Mutation Process - Automatic Mutation with Registry Now
Chhattisgarh Government has made a historic decision to automate land mutation process.
Raipur, April 24, 2025:
According to the new notification issued by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Chhattisgarh, a historic decision has been taken regarding the mutation process in the state. From now on, land mutation will be automatically completed along with the registry.
Under this new system:
- Mutation-related powers have been withdrawn from Tehsildars.
- Now the buyer's name will be directly recorded in the Record of Rights (ROR) along with the registry.
- This will eliminate corruption, delays and duplicate processes.
- Common citizens will immediately get their rights records (ownership).
